VenueSync is built for outreach to businesses you have a legitimate commercial reason to contact. That means businesses that could genuinely benefit from your services and that you have discovered through lawful means — not purchased lists, not scraped personal data from social networks, and not contacts that have previously asked not to be contacted. If you are running ethical, permission-respecting outreach to businesses in your target market, this policy will not get in your way. If you are looking to send mass spam, this is not the platform for you.
You may use VenueSync to: • Discover local business leads via our Google Maps scraper and enrich them with publicly available contact information • Send personalised cold outreach emails to businesses that have a plausible interest in your services • Run multi-step follow-up sequences that respect recipient opt-outs • Manage replies, pipeline stages, and client relationships in the CRM • Generate AI-assisted email copy and prospect analysis for your own outreach campaigns • White-label the platform for your agency under a qualifying plan
The following uses are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension: • Sending unsolicited bulk email to individuals (as opposed to businesses) without prior consent • Using purchased, rented, or harvested contact lists not sourced through VenueSync's own tools • Impersonating any individual, company, brand, or domain you do not own or have permission to represent • Sending outreach that violates any applicable law, including CAN-SPAM (US), GDPR (EU/UK), CASL (Canada), or equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction • Using the platform to send phishing, malware, or deceptive content of any kind • Continuing to contact a recipient after they have opted out or asked not to be contacted • Sending outreach at volumes or rates designed to abuse or overwhelm recipient mail servers • Sharing your account credentials or reselling platform access without a written reseller agreement
Every campaign you run through VenueSync must meet the following minimum standards: • Include a clear, honest identification of who is sending the email and on whose behalf • Include a working unsubscribe mechanism in every email (our platform adds this automatically) • Honour all opt-out requests within 10 business days — the platform will suppress opted-out contacts automatically • Use accurate, non-deceptive subject lines that reflect the content of the email • Be sent only to business email addresses or general business contact points, not to private individuals unless they have consented • Comply with all sender authentication requirements (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for your sending domain
You are responsible for ensuring your use of VenueSync complies with the laws of your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of the recipients you contact. VenueSync provides the tooling; you own the outreach strategy and the compliance obligations that go with it. If you are unsure whether a particular practice is permitted in your market, consult a qualified legal professional before proceeding. We recommend familiarising yourself with CAN-SPAM, GDPR Article 6 (lawful basis), and CASL Section 6 (express vs implied consent) as a baseline.
VenueSync may monitor platform activity for compliance with this policy. We do not read the content of individual emails, but we do track aggregate sending behaviour, bounce rates, spam complaint rates, and unsubscribe rates. Accounts that generate high complaint or bounce rates, send at unusual volumes, or are reported by recipients will be reviewed. Depending on severity, enforcement actions range from a warning and usage cap to immediate permanent suspension with no refund.
Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions: • A warning and mandatory compliance review • Temporary suspension of campaign sending until the issue is resolved • Permanent account termination without refund • Reporting to relevant authorities where activity is unlawful We take these actions to protect other users of the platform, the deliverability reputation of our shared infrastructure, and the businesses that receive outreach through VenueSync.
If you have received an email you believe was sent through VenueSync in violation of this policy, or if you are a VenueSync user who has observed abusive use of the platform, please contact us at legal@venuesync.live with as much detail as possible. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
