We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, and payment information when you create an account or subscribe to a plan. We also collect information generated by your use of the platform: leads you import or scrape, campaigns you create, emails sent through our system, and usage analytics (pages visited, features used, session duration). When you connect an email account for outreach, we access that account solely to send and track emails on your behalf.
We use your information to provide and improve the VenueSync service, to process payments and send billing-related communications, to send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, usage alerts), to generate AI-powered email copy and lead analysis on your behalf, to monitor platform health and prevent abuse, and to communicate product updates and new features (you can opt out at any time). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
VenueSync uses the following third-party services to operate. Each processes data under their own privacy policy and data processing terms: • Supabase — authentication and database storage. Your account credentials and platform data are stored in Supabase's infrastructure. • Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend to send account and system notifications. • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Your payment card details are stored and processed by Stripe; VenueSync never sees or stores raw card numbers. • OpenAI — AI content generation. When you run AI email writing or lead analysis, relevant prospect data (business name, website content, niche) is sent to OpenAI's API. We do not send personally identifiable information about your end users to OpenAI.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records for up to 7 years). Lead and campaign data you have created may be exported before account closure via your account settings.
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and to opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell it). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@venuesync.live. We will respond within 30 days. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
VenueSync uses essential cookies to maintain your session after login and to keep you authenticated across page visits. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We may use a first-party analytics cookie to understand aggregate usage patterns (pages visited, feature adoption). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data, access controls limiting which team members can access production data, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to legal@venuesync.live before public disclosure.
